In 1995, a handful of enthusiasts who loved rivers and the rainforest launched a then-unknown activity in Guadeloupe: Canyoning. Vert-Intense was born from this passion for adventure in natural environments, quickly becoming a major player in sustainable tourism on the island.
Thanks to our in-depth knowledge of the area and our strict safety standards, we have introduced thousands of visitors to this spectacular discipline. We have explored, opened, and marked out the most beautiful canyons in Basse-Terre: the famous Carbet, Matouba, Galion, and even the Black River.
The Guadeloupe National Park A strict policy has been put in place to preserve sensitive areas of the primary forest. In particular, the Park's decree now prohibits canyoning in certain protected areas, especially around La Soufrière and rivers classified as park core areas.
This framework aims to protect the exceptional biodiversity of the Guadeloupe. But it limits access to certain iconic routes, once very popular with thrill-seekers.
Fortunately, the Guadeloupe is full of spectacular routes accessible outside of forbidden zones. Vert-Intense adapted its offering and continues to offer unique experiences, in full compliance with the law and with respect for the environment:

Each outing is supervised by a state-certified guide. Passionate about the region, they will share the secrets of the rainforest, from medicinal plants to local legends.
Our approach is based on environmental education, safety, and respect for natural sites. We limit group sizes, regularly train our guides, and collaborate with local authorities to ensure responsible canyoning practices.
Choosing Vert-Intense, you support a local, pioneering company committed to the preservation of Guadeloupean natural and cultural heritage.

Canyoning is an unforgettable experience to have in Guadeloupe. Whether you're looking for adrenaline, coolness, or communion with nature, Vert-Intense guides you on a local and safe adventure.
