From age 8, you can offer your children the Soufrière hike: not only is it an active volcano, but it is also a mountain summit.
And here are a few small tips to motivate them!

The summit plateau on a clear day is rare but exceptional.
Volcanism fascinates both young and old: in the school curriculum from elementary grades, children are captivated by volcanoes.

There are two types of volcanoes: red and gray. Ours is gray.

Your guide will use visuals so children can understand, and you'll set off on an experiential hike, with the smells and sounds coming from the craters.
The weather is what makes the hike more difficult: you're on one of the wettest peaks in the world, so bring good rain gear, a warm top, good sneakers, and shorts are sufficient.
We supply gas masks suitable for children.


And at the end of the hike, the little reward is a swim at the Bains Jaunes. Leave your swimsuits and change of clothes in your vehicle.
