La Soufri\u00e8re is the highest point of the Lesser Antilles but also an active volcano in eruptive repose. An unusual hike on the La Soufri\u00e8re volcano in Guadeloupe with family or friends.<\/p>

The walk begins at Pas du Roy, an old paved military road. You are in the heart of the humid tropical forest with its tall trees: white gum trees, acomat, bois band\u00e9...<\/p>

The real ascent then begins on the side of the volcano. The guide will lead you to the summit of La Soufri\u00e8re in an area closed to the public. You will be equipped with a gas mask to tour the craters and active fumaroles.<\/p>

The guides go to the summit by following the geologists' trail. If the weather permits, we'll do a loop at most.<\/p>
