The approach march

In the early morning, we leave for a one-hour and thirty-minute hike in the forest with about 300 meters of elevation gain.
The rainforest is, in the middle of the island of Guadeloupe, exuberant with large trees. And it is after a rather steep descent that we arrive at an arm of the Bois Malaisé river.

In the Bois Malaisé River

The first rappel sets the tone for the river: 27 m down a slightly wet wall.
The second reminder follows directly at the same height, but this time you are in the flow of the Bois Malaisé river.

The river descent continues with more aquatic sections, featuring a horse-tail rappel, and don't forget a short one-hour boulder scramble before the final rappel.
