The guided hike on Nez Cassé is very difficult with dizzying sections where you walk on suspended tree roots.
Our starting point: the Beausoleil Picnic Area in Saint-Claude, in the heart of Guadeloupe National Park, surrounded by the large trees of the rainforest: acoma, white gommiers, yellow mangroves... We are directly beneath the Soufrière volcano.

We will skirt along the Pelletier canal before tackling the vertiginous ascent of Nez Cassé and discover a different side of Guadeloupe. In good weather, we have a view of the Soufrière volcano and the south of Basse-Terre.

The summit is earned, a mikado of trunks, roots, and branches to cross. The descent is made on Papaye before following the Delgrès trail in the forest to arrive at the Beausoleil picnic area. An unusual discovery in Guadeloupe for trail runners.
